Holy Cow, I have come to a time that I never thought would come when I started this pregnancy. I have enjoyed my second trimester, I love watching my belly grow and seeing how much weight I have gained. CRAVINGS I have craved so far doughnuts, and french toast. I am sure there are other things but those are the most recent things. I love learning his schedules when it comes to moving and what not. he is a pretty good baby so far. he sleeps when I do and kickes when I am awake, I love it, if only I knew it would stay like that.
I personally have bought him 2 onsies an 80 dollar crib and a 50 dollar changing table. It is still really wierd and exciting in so many different ways. Its almost overwhelming. Sean (I think) enjoys feeling him kick.
I worry that i wont be a good enough mommy or I wont know what to do in the middle of the night when he is crying and I cant figure out why. Even with all the "training" I have had working with kids I know its going to be different with one of my own that I have all day every day.

Jordan, you are going to make an excellent mommy! You will be the only one who will know what to do with your new baby, the only one who will be able to comfort him and the only one he will recognize when he is born. He has grown with you all of these months and knows your voice and your scent. You will be the one to soothe him during the night when he is cranky or gassy or hungry or just tired. He has grown to love you as you have with him and when he comes into this world to meet you, you will be the one person he will be searching for. When you hold him, he will know exactly who you are Jordan.
ReplyDeleteAs for all the other stuff, you will find at some point that you have too many things for that baby but not enough of the items you do need. But as always, things will work out and he will be taken care of. You have lots of little clothes and an awesome breast pump coming to you if not already. Anything else you need, just let us know. I started out with barely anything when I had Dylan but it slowly came together. Hand in there little mama!
